Cancel / Change USPS Hold mail request Online without Confirmation No.

You must be familiar with the Hold Mail Service by U.S Postal Service. Through this service you can put your mail on hold if you are not able to receive mail for few days. You can put your mail on hold online and by visiting the local post office. You will need to fill a form (PS Form 8076) in both the cases.

You can also edit or cancel your request anytime. If you want to Modify / Cancel USPS Hold Mail Request By Telephone then you will need to call on 1-800-ASK-USPS® (1-800-275-8777) and if you want to do this online then you can follow the steps given below :-

Change USPS Hold Mail request Online :-

  1. Firstly, If you want to change or edit the request then click here.
  2. Click on the option on the right “Edit or cancel an existing Hold Mail request”. cancel-usps-hold-mail-online

  4. Now you can edit the information according to you. You can modify the beginning date, ending date or both and if your request has started then you can only modify the ending date.
  5. After making changes, scroll down to bottom and click on “Continue” and then “Yes” to verify.
  6. After clicking on Continue button and Yes, a confirmation page will be displayed to indicate your request has been updated.

Cancel USPS Hold Mail request online :- 

  1. Click Here to visit the page where you can cancel the request.
  2. Click on the option on the right “Edit or cancel an existing Hold Mail request”.
  3. Enter the confirmation number and either the email or phone number you send in your request.
  4. Now you can cancel your request. After filling the required information click on the Continue button and you will be redirected to “Verify Your Cancellation” page.
  5. Select “Yes”. Now you can see the “Cancellation Confirmation” page on your display which is indicating the confirmation of the cancellation of your request.

Change or Cancel USPS online Hold Mail request without confirmation number :-  

If you don’t have your confirmation number and still you want to cancel or modify the hold mail request then you have to visit the local post office and there present your Photo ID and if you are still on vacation or unable to visit the local post office then you can call your local post office.
